This has been a month filled with baseball. A few weeks ago Chris took Keaton and Andrew to an LA Dodgers-Philadelphia Phillies game with their Uncle Blaine - their first trip to Dodger Stadium. Then a week later Chris was able to get some tickets to the Angels-Padres game on Friday night. We decided to take the whole family and make it a surprise. Surprises are supposed to be fun right? Our boys were dying to know where we were going. Is it an amusment park? etc, etc. They could hardly stand it. They didn't want to go unless they had all of the details. They're not so good with surprises.

Our seats were amazing! We were four rows up from the dugout in front of home plate. The boys have really been into baseball. They've become Angels fans and have watched almost every game since we went.

Every Friday night they have a fireworks show after the game. It was awesome and a great way to end the night.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if I can be your friends anymore!? This was always MY team. I even had a personalized license plate for years "Shel4CA" when their logo was CA (California Angels). My family had season tix 10 rows behind homeplate for YEARS! Ohhhh the good old days...thanks for making me homesick more than ever!!
